Scores and rules
Tap a team panel to add points or goals; swipe down to subtract them. Press and hold the panel to open its team menu. In Settings, you can choose free play or Bundesliga mode, edit teams and colours, and set the game rules. The app supports German and English.
Timer and timeouts
Control the timer and timeouts on the scoreboard. In Bundesliga mode, you can set each team's timeout allowance and timeout duration. The current test build has no audible end signal; expiry is shown on screen. “Restart game” resets the current game but keeps the rules. “Default settings” also resets teams and rules. Labels follow the language chosen in the app.
DTFB matches and lineups
In Settings, choose a DTFB match to import the home and away teams, squad lists and available competition, date and table information. The recognized Bundesliga Race to 42 format sets a target of 42 and a draw at 41:41. Importing a match starts a new local game and resets scores and timeouts; check the rules before playing.
Lineups are imported only once the match has started in SportsManager and the full lineup is available. An upcoming match or incomplete lineup can still be selected. Use the separate lineup update action later: scores, timeouts and rules are preserved, and an incomplete response does not replace an existing lineup. The current pairing appears on the scoreboard; the jersey icon opens the full lineup.
Use “Remove match” to clear the selected encounter, squad lists and lineups without resetting the app. Team names, scores and rules stay in place. The app reads DTFB data; it does not submit scores or lineups to SportsManager.
Optional live ticker
Local scoring works without an account or internet connection. Under Settings → Live ticker, an authorized device can be paired with a short-lived code. Only when you explicitly start a broadcast does the app send game data to scoreboard-pro.danielsorger.de. Anyone with the shared link or QR code can see scores, team names, game progress and available player names and lineups; use nicknames and share the link deliberately. Local changes remain saved during connection problems and are retried later. You can hand off control to another authorized team device.
End, resume and delete
“My games” also shows ended broadcasts. You can resume an ended game with the same spectator link or, as an authorized owner, delete it from the server. Server deletion requires confirmation. A local archive can be exported or deleted; deleting it does not remove a server copy. Ending a local live session archives local data without deleting the server game. Device backups may contain local app data. See the Scoreboard Pro privacy policy for details.
Availability
The current iPhone and iPad beta is available via TestFlight. This page describes version 0.1.0 with DTFB import and the optional live ticker. TestFlight is an Apple service; following the link opens Apple’s website. This is a beta, not a public App Store release.
